About this Anime:

Kaoru Hanabishi is a seemingly normal college student, as well as the former heir to the Hanabishi Zaibatsu. Kaoru had never been truly accepted by the family, as Kaoru's father passed away before he could marry Kaoru's mother. After his father died, Kaoru was taken in by his grandfather to prepare for the eventual succession to a position of power. Kaoru could not stand to endure his grandfather's abuse, and left the family to find his own path. Kaoru grew distant from the world, as he found fewer and fewer reasons to continue his seemingly pointless existence.

However, Kaoru's life is changed forever when a girl named Aoi Sakuraba arrives on Kaoru's doorstep claiming to be his fiancée. Aoi is the daughter of the head of the Sakuraba Clan, whom the Hanabishis had dealt with to secure an engagement between Kaoru and Aoi. When Kaoru left the Hanabishi Zaibatsu, the marriage was terminated, and the Sakurabas began to search for another man to wed Aoi. Aoi, on the other hand, had other plans and walked out on her family in search of the man that she loved.

The two lovers are trapped. Hanabishi is a disgraced heir, and Aoi is the only daughter of the Sakuraba Clan's head. The sight of the two in public would cause a scandal that could tear both families apart. A solution came in the form of Miyabi Kagurazaki: Aoi's guardian and caretaker. The Sakurabas owned a large, western-style house with an adjoined servants' quarters. Miyabi and Aoi took residence in the main house, while Kaoru made the servant's quarters his home.

Aoi and Kaoru now have a future together to look forward to... so long as Kaoru's attractive female friends don't continue to interfere!
