Aqua Knight is a work of science fiction/fantasy, concerning the world of Marmundo. Kings rule islands scattered over the ocean and knights ride killer whales through the seas.

On the remote Island of Faro, not far from the World's Edge, a stormy night brings a visitor to the lighthouse keeper and his young assistant. When they find a suit of armor washed up near the shore, they open it to reveal a beautiful woman who is an Aqua Knight from a faraway land. Inspired by her example, the boy vows to become a knight himself (with just his knife and fishing spear)-and when the lighthouse becomes caught in the schemes of a twisted aristocrat, he has the opportunity sooner than he hopes. So begins the saga of a girl in armor and a boy in rags.

Aqua Knight is a 6-issue monthly series written and drawn by Yukito Kishiro. Each issue is 32-48 pages long and retails for $2.95/$3.50 in the U.S. and $4.50/$5.25 in Canada. Issue #1 includes a full-color poster map of the world of Marmundo.
