Bleaching the Armored Volts of Anime Village

Bandai announced plans to revive Anime Village. Many fans remember Anime Village as Bandai's online retail store. The service will reopen on April 16, and will host streaming episodes of Eureka 7. Episodes of Eureka 7 will also be available for purchase via download. The retail storefront is also slated to reopen, and will offer Bandai Entertainment products at discounted rates.

According to Anime on DVD, Media Blasters has announced plans to release the anime classic Voltron on DVD. The series will be released in eight installments of three-disc DVD boxsets, the first of which is set to hit stores in September. Each set will contain fifteen episodes, with remastered video, 5.1 audio, and a variety of extras that include original TV advertisements, news footage, and original extras created specifically for the boxsets.

Media Blasters also plans to release uncut, subtitled DVDs of Armored Squadron Dairugger XV and Hundred Beast King Go Lion in 2007. Both shows were used as source material for Voltron.

Anime Nation reports that Adult Swim plans to air both Eureka 7 and Bleach on the network. Eureka 7 begins airing on April 15th, and Bleach is scheduled to start this fall.

According to Moon Phase, a new series by Lupin III creator Monkey Punch will air on the Japanese BS-i satellite network. The series, titled Musashi, will premiere on April 9.
