Another Evangelion Hits the Green, Green Ninjas of Albequerque's Brave Forest

According to Anime on DVD, ADV Films will be releasing a commemorative Neon Genesis Evangelion boxed set. The set, in celebration of the series' tenth anniversary (which occured in 2005), will include, a "plethora of commemorative items." The Evangelion commemorative set will retail for $250US, and will be released in August 2006.

Media Blasters has announced that the company has cancelled its release of Riki-Oh, due to legal issues that could not be settled. Kirameki Project's first two volumes have been delayed to October 31 and November 21, and Green Green's first volume has been delayed to June 27.

Central Park Media announced that it plans to re-release Wrath of the Ninja on DVD. The DVD will contain the Wrath of the Ninja movie, as well as the original Yotoden OVAs (the series from which Wrath of the Ninja was derived), which have never seen a DVD release. The feature will be released on August 8, 2006 with a price point of $24.95US.

Central Park Media also announced that the company will be showing several pieces at Albequerque's Guild Cinema. Negadon: the Monster from Mars!, Cat Soup, and KaKuRenBo will be shown at the theatre on May 26 and May 27, with an 11:00PM showtime on both days.

Dengeki Online is currently hosting the first promotional image for the upcoming Dobutsu no Mori(Animal Crossing) animated film. Titled Oideyo! Dobutsu no Mori, the feature is based on Nintendo's wildly popular life simulation series. The film is currently in an early design phase, so all media is subject to change.

Gonzo has announced that the company will donate proceeds from Brave Story to UNICEF. Ten yen from each sold ticket will be donated to the charity, which assists children afflicted with HIV in Asia and Africa. Brave Story is scheduled to open in Japanese theaters on July 8, 2006.
