Toonami, in all its kind-hearted glory, has graced the US with TV broadcasts of the Tenchi Muyo OAV and TV series. Now you can't ask for much more than seeing your favorite characters every day, can you? What if somebody were to bring Tenchi toys to a store near you? Too good to be true you say? Not so, as Equity Marketing has decided to answer our prayers and bring us a number of Tenchi toys!

The Tenchi Muyo Super D pack is due out in December / January. The pack contains Tenchi, Sasami, and Ryo-Ohki, the three most popular characters in the series. The pack is set to retail for $9.99. Not a bad price at all considering it has three characters. A definite pick up for any Tenchi fan, right in the thick of the holiday season no less.

The Tenchi figure is holding his little Lighthawk sword and posed in a nice little battle stance. The level of detail is quite good as you can see below.

The Sasami figure looks mighty cheerful, but of course Sasami is always cheerful, so why wouldn't her figure be the same? You can share her cheerfulness in this picture here.

Everyone's favorite rabbit / spaceship creature is also included along with the other two. Little Ryo-Ohki looks pretty good in this picture.

That's hardly the end of the Tenchi goodness though. Equity will also be releasing a series of larger (approximately 8"), non-articulated Tenchi Muyo figurines. Available sometime in February 2001 in retail stores, the figures will include Tenchi, Ayeka and Ryoko, but no price has been set at this time. Now February may seem like a long way off, but it's really right around the corner, and to whet your appetite, here are pictures of those figures below.

I'll be off to camp out and be the first to get mine. What about you? Shouldn't you be leaving now? GO! GO NOW!!!
