DramaQueen announced its acquisition of the following titles:

ADV Films has snatched up the rights to Sgt. Frog (Keroro Gunsou). Currently, it is unknown as to how much of the 100+ series ADV has acquired.

Del Ray announced the company's acquisition of Mitsunaga Yasunori's Princess Resurrection manga. The first volume of the series is slated for a May 31, 2007 release.

FUNimation announced that the company will release Dragon Ball Z in remastered season box sets. The releases will feature remastered video, selectable audio tracks ("Revised English," "English dialogue with Japanese score," and Japanese), and extra bonus features. The first set will contain the series' first 39 episodes, and will be released at a $49.98US price tag on February 6, 2007.

Moon Phase reports that Japanese consumers that purchase the entire Higurashi no Naku Koro ni television series on DVD will be eligible for a bonus OVA disc. Aside from the title, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Gaiden: Neko Koroshi Hen, little is known about the OVA feature at the moment.

According to Anime News Service, the first animated Tetsujin 28 (Gigantor) film is set to premiere in Japan next March. The film, titled Tetsujin 28 gou: Hakchuu no Zangetsu, will be directed by Yasuhiro Imagawa and animated by Palm Studio, who also animated the 2004 Tetsujin 28 television program.
