Shojo Beat Maaya To Death With Swimming Higurashi Angels!

In the April 2007 issue of Shojo Beat, Viz announced its acquisition of two new manga titles. Chitose Yagami's single-volume manga, Fall In Love Like A Comic, will see an October release. Hinako Ashara's Sand Chronicles, a ten-volume series, will be serialized in Shojo Beat later this year.

Production IG announced that the company's Studio 4 has produced an animated music video for Maaya Sakamoto's latest latest single, Universe. The video will be included with the limited edition of 30minutes night flight, Sakamoto's newest album. 30minutes night flight will be released in Japan on March 21.

AnimeNation reports that a second Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan (Beat To Death Angel Dokuro-chan) is currently in planning stages. No details on the series are currently known.

Moon Phase reports that Mitsuru Hattori's comedy manga, Kenko Zenrakei Suieibu Umisho will receive an anime adaptation. No details on the title have been revealed at the moment.

According to Anime on DVD, Geneon has acquired the rights to When They Cry - Higurashi (Higurashi no Naku Koroni). The first volume is slated to be released on June 5, 2007 in both standard and limited editions.

Bandai Entertainment announced that the company plans to release Galaxy Angel AA in North America. The series will be released in four volumes, with the first volume set for a June 19, 2007 release. This marks the end of an 18-month hiatus, after Bandai's release of Galaxy Angel A.
