At last weekend's Anime Expo convention, Media Blasters announced the following acquisitions:

• Strawberry Panic

• Ikkitousen Dragon Destiny
• Otome wa Boku ni Koshiteru
• Angel's Feather
• Futari Ecchi
• Golden Boy
• Gakuen Nanafushigi
• Haru wo Daiteita
• Fuyu no Seme
• Flower and Stick

Previously, Golden Boy was distributed by ADV Films. At the convention, Media Blasters also confirmed that the company is co-producing Kite Liberator with the Japanese production team, and plans to release the title in America.

Manga Entertainment announced that the company is co-producing the three-part OVA Strait Jacket. The company currently holds the American rights and expects to release the feature in August 2008.

TOKYOPOP announced that the company acquired the rights to Natsumi Itsuki's Jyu Oh Sei. Currently, no details on the title's release schedule have been announced.

At Anime Expo, ADV Films announced that the company will be releasing the following titles:

• Devil May Cry
• Gurren Langann
• Kyoshiro no Towa no Sora

Currently, no details have been announced for any of the three titles.

Bandai Entertainment revealed it has snatched up the rights to the following titles:

• AIKa
• AIKa R-16
• Silent Mobius's two theatrical films
• Gundam SEED Destiny Special

AIKa previously saw release on American DVD through Central Park Media, under the title Agent Aika. The first Silent Mobius theatrical feature was originally distributed by Streamline Entertainment.

At Anime Expo, Bandai Visual USA revealed plans to release Super Robot Wars: Original Generation's OVA and television series, as well as Mobile Suite Gundam MS IGLOO. Super Robot Wars is scheduled to premiere on American DVD in October, when the three-part OVA is released in a single volume.

Dark Horse recently acquired the following titles:
