Revamped Reviews
Today's review update not only features ElfShadow's take on the most recent Slayers TV series, but also brings with it a new design for the Reviews section. All the basic information in both the index page and those for each individual review remains the same, only the layout having undergone a facelift of sorts. Take a quick stroll over to the newly polished section, here, and browse a few old reviews to get a feel for the new and improved look. A few minor aesthetic tweaks are impressive for only so long though, so without further delay, on with the new review!
Slayers Try will soon complete its domestic release, courtesy of Central Park Media, with the eighth and final volume scheduled for release on December 12th. This volume will go for $19.99, the VHS dub and VHS sub retailing at an equal price point, while a DVD set, similar to the two recently released DVD box sets for the Slayers and Slayers Next series, won't hit retail shelves till later in 2001. While you're waiting for the DVD release of this comedic fantasy, let ElfShadow help you decide whether Slayers Try is for you with his review of the series. See how well Lina and company's latest adventure stacks up right here. A picture says a thousand words, or so goes the old cliché, so after looking over the review for Try, take a peek at our screen shot galleries for Slayers and Slayers Next here.
Wrapping things up, I hope all you crazy Americans had a great Thanksgiving! You know what would make me thankful though? Having ElfShadow's mailbox flooded with review after review of course! ^_^ Christmas is right around the corner too, so get into the giving spirit early this year with a reader review or two (gift wrapping optional)!
