We also have one of the biggest dealer's rooms; so bring plenty of cash, because you'll find things here that you just can't get anywhere else.

Art Show:

Otakon is once agan sponsoring a fan-produced anime art show and auction. Both wall art, and 3-Dimensional art will be accepted. For more info contact Nick Duartex.

Otakon Video Program:

Otakon 2001 will feature seven theatres for showing you the best anime around! We have the latest in fan-subtitled and commercially available anime, and the best live-action films Hong-Kong have to offer. All theatres feature new state-of-the-art video projection systems(NO TVs) and full stereo sound. Anime never looked so good.

Mystery Anime Theatre 3000:

Watch the center for Mad Science in the Public Interest's fiendish experiments on the hapless Joel Saotome and his robotic pals. Another year of pointless plots, horrible dubbing, and bad acting, plus the invention exchange. Enjoy the fifth season of Mystery Anime Theatre 3000!

As for confirmed guests, Scott Frazier, Gilles Poitras and Adam Warren will all be attending. That's not all! Hikaru Midorikawa the voice actor of Heero Yuy(Gundam Wing), Tamahome(Fushigi Yuugi), and Zelgadis(Slayers) will be hanging out as well!

Otakon look to be shaping up to be pretty good this year. I can say that last year was a blast(of course, Bôa being there might have something to do with that ^_^). So if your going, make sure to sign up early to get the discounts and please, Dear God Please, if you can't sing......DON'T!
