Brave Robot Raideen TV series will be making it's way to the modern digital world. The series will coming to DVD.

The DVD of this series from 1976 will include 26 episodes for a total of 624 minutes at a price of ¥7,800. Not a bad deal and we haven't even touched the extras.

The extras on the DVD are almost worth the price themselves. The DVD includes a model image gallery, a special seiyuu extra, a 25 minute interview with director Tomino Yoshiyuku(guy who created Gundam), 4 TV commercials, and a 48 page book(Whew, that's a lot).

Quite a package. Alas the Japanese release won't be happening until March 15th. Start getting those import fingers ready now because you don't want to miss this one.
