ICv2 reports that Yen Press acquired the rights to the first four volumes of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya's manga adaptation. The first volume is scheduled to hit stores this October, with future volumes scheduled to be released every four months. Each volume of the Haruhi manga will include full-color illustrations to accompany the black & white pages. Yen Press is planning a large promotional push at both the New York Comic Con and the San Diego Comic-Con.
