Yahoo! Finance reports that Japanese corporation Dentsu recently opened an American subsidiary. The company, named DCI Los Angeles (DCI henceforth), will act to secure American and European partners to produce Japanese-animated features that will be distributed internationally.

DCI also announced plans to release the anime adaptation of Deltora Quest worldwide. However, DCI is still searching for broadcast partners and licensees to distribute the title.

Dentsu is the parent company of Geneon USA, which ceased operations in 2007.
