Pony Canyon officially announced that they are producing Abunai Sisters. Abunai Sisters is a joint production between Pony Canyon, Fuji TV, and Production I.G (Ghost in the Shell). The title revolves around the Kano Sisters, Kyoko and Mika. Susumu Matsushita (Kiba) will provide character designs for the feature.

Pony Canyon is planning a simultaneous worldwide DVD release for Abunai Sisters. The title will be a limited release that will only be sold via preorders through Pony Canyon.

Abunai Sisters will be released on October 1, 2008.
