The official trailer for Final Fantasy X has appeared over at Sony's Movie Theatre Site. Of course clicking (Ed. Note: Here lies a link that once had a real target. R.I.P) will let you view the movie without leaving the comfort of the warm and friendly news page.

Square has also released a sample of Final Fantasy X theme song, "Suteki Da Ne". The sample is 45 seconds long and features composer Nobuo Uematsu introducing the song. You can check that out at PlayOnline. The CD single is due out on July 19th for about ¥1,300. Wouldn't that make a great birthday present for me? I know you want to buy it for me as a birthday gift (just ignore the fact it's not my birthday). The CD will include the vocal and instrumental versions of "Suteki Da Ne" as well as "Utekisama", an original piece by vocalist Rikki . That's not all, it will also have an arranged version of "Aerith's Theme" from Final Fantasy VII, called "Pure Heart."

If you happen to live in Japan, Seven-Eleven has announced that a limited edition summon creature figure will be given out as an incentive for pre-purchase of Final Fantasy X. While a series of figure are scheduled to be released under the incredibly creative name Final Fantasy Creatures, Valfare and Serial No. 00 will only be available via pre-order at Seven-Eleven. The figure will come in three different yummy varities, crystal, metallic, and full-color. Alas, you get whatever color you're lucky enough to get. No one will be allowed to choose the color.

Final Fantasy Movie wrist watch While not cool game stuff, Seiko will be putting out 1,000 Limited Edition Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within wrist watches to the market on June 22, for ¥21,000 each. The design of the watch is based on the heroine Aki's wristwatch in the movie, which she uses as a tool to measure positions.

Also worthy of note is that the official site for the upcoming PS2 game Xenosaga has opened up for business. Not too useful if you don't speak Japanese, but you can view the pretty pictures.
