Screenwriter Ai Ota (Turn A Gundam, Inuyasha) and veteran director/mecha designer Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed, Bubblegum Crisis) have teamed up to develop a new sci-fi anime TV series titled Vipers' Creed.

The series will focus on tensions between a private mercenary and official military organizations in the aftermath of a particularly destructive war.

Animax will air a preview special about the series on December 30, and the series itself will debut in January.
