Medicom (they make figurines) is set to release their 47th set with a comic-con exclusive figure. Tetsujin 28 (better known as Gigantor) will be avialable exclusively at the San Diego Comic-Con and Wizard World Chicago. It will be available individually with a "deep blue" metallic repaint. However, if you're itching for one of these bad boys, you better be quick, because there will only be 2,001 figures made.

Kaiyodo and Diamond have teamed up to make those dreams of glow-in-the-dark Evangelion figures a reality. Yes, that's right, at San Diego and Wizard World Chicago. Neon Genesis Evangelion EVA Unit 01 Glow-in-the-Dark will be exclusive to those cons. The First Angel (Adam) will come blister carded marked with a Comic-Con Exclusive Sticker. Once again only 2,001 figures will be produced. What is it with that number?

Have you ever played Soul Calibur? Does your girlfriend like to play as Sophita? Alas, this doesn't have anything to do with Sophita. It has more to do with Nightmare, actually more like a Limited Edition Silver Nightmare Variant Figure. Created by toy company Epoch (they have nothing to do with time traveling egg shaped vehicles form certain videogames) and is being brought over by Diamond. The figure is painted in bright, metallic sliver and is scheduled to ship in September 2001.

Last and certainly least (in my opinion anyway) is an exclusive teen Trunks action figure. A joint effort by Beckett Dragon Ball Z Collector and Irwin Toys . The figure is fully articulated and is painted with a metallic paint. You can only obtain this figure through a special order form in Beckett Dragon Ball Z Collector or Beckett Pokemon Collector magazines. It's due out for release in July in limited quantities.
