Udon Entertainment announced the creation of Manga For Kids: a new publishing label under which they'll be publishing English translated manga titles geared toward children.

The initial Manga For Kids releases include Tomomi Mizuna's The Big Adventures of Majoko, Shunshin Maeda's Ninja Baseball Kyuma!, Mera Hakamada's Fairy Idol Kanon, and Yamamoto Lunlun's Swans in Space.

Big Adventures of Majoko and Ninja Baseball Kyuma! will hit stores in April 2009; Fairy Idol Kanon will launch in May; and Swans in Space will premiere in June.

At last, parents can get their kids hooked while they're young. Kind of a scary prospect, don't you think?
