This year's 53rd issue of Weekly Shonen Champion magazine recently revealed that an anime adaptation of the ongoing Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas - Meio Shinwa manga series is in the works. The prequel series - written by Saint Seiya series creator Masami Kurumada and illustrated by Shiori Teshirogi - is set in the mid-1700s. The series focuses on Tenma, Alone, and Sasha - 18th century incarnations of Pegasus Seiya, Hades, and Athena.
