Universal Pictures and affiliate Stuber Productions recently signed a deal with Canadian toy company Spin Master to develop a film based on Spin Master's Bakugan property (Based on the Bakugan Battle Brawlers 2007 anime TV series) for theatrical release.

In September, Spin Master announced that Japan's TMS Entertainment would continue producing Bakugan anime episodes for North American broadcast.

Bakugan airs six days a week on Cartoon Network and frequently ranks as one of the network's top ten shows.
