FUNimation Acquires Samurai Champloo

FUNimation announced that they have acquired the rights to Samurai Champloo. The title is scheduled to be released on DVD in 2009.

Samurai Champloo is another former Geneon property that originally hit American DVD in 2006. The series was broadcast on Adult Swim from May 2005 to March 2006.
