FUNimation announced that they have obtained the rights to Evangelion 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone. FUNimation's license includes all broadcast, digital, mobile, and merchandise rights to the film. Evangelion 1.0 is currently slated for a 2009 release.

Evangelion 1.0 is the first of four films based on Neon Genesis Evangelion. The film retells the first six episodes of the original series.
