Bandai Entertainment announced that they will partner with National CineMedia to present a theatrical run of Sword of the Stranger. The English dubbed version of Sword of the Stranger will have a one-night run on February 5 at 7:30PM local time. The film will be accompanied by a behind-the-scenes featurette, as well as interviews with the English cast. Currently, 367 theaters are scheduled to show the film.

Sword of the Stranger's license was originally announced at Fanimecon 2008. A theatrical run was briefly mentioned, but Bandai has not revealed information prior to today's announcement.
