Bandai Visual To Undergo Reorganization

Namco Bandai Holdings announced that they will perform a large-scale reorganization on all of its subsidiaries. Bandai Visual, which currently has three production departments and an advertising & sales department, will be divided into six new departments. The departments will focus on different Bandai Visual intellectual properties. The six new departments will be divided as follows:

  • Gundam (Solely devoted to Mobile Suit Gundam), headed by Satoshi Kubo
  • Content , headed by Satoshi Kono
  • Content Development Department, headed by Minoru Takanashi
  • High-end Department, headed by Koichi Ueyama
  • Business & Strategy for Packaged Releases, headed by Kunitoshi Yoneta
  • Business & Strategy for Network Global Business, headed by Yoshihiro Ueno

The Network Global Business division will focus on electronic commerce, network distribution, and new media, as well as related areas.

Chief producers Kenji Hamada, Atsushi Yukawa, Katsuji Umezawa, and Hiroyuki Takano will take leading positions in the character, anime, film, and music departments, respectively.
