The official homepage for Charady no Joke na Mainichi (Charady's Daily Joke) recently opened, revealing that the title will be an animated television series. The series will premiere on Japanese television on April 1, and will run 365 daily episodes. The Biglobe multimedia site will stream episodes of the series for international viewers.

Ryuji Masuda (Funny Pets, Ga-Ra-Ku-Ta: Mr. Stain on Junk Alley) will serve as Charady's executive director. The production crew for the show will be comprised of students from Kyoto University of Art and Design. Fashion label Crystal Ball will aid in the design of Charady's clothing.
