Nippon Animation is partnering with Canada's Embassy in Japan to host a premiere event for Before Green Gables. In addition to the debut of the show, the event will include a discussion with series director Katsuyoshi Yatabe (Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, Dirty Pair: Project EDEN), theme song performer Azumi Inoue (Laputa, My Neighbor Totoro), and the series' voice actors.

The event will be held on March 16. The Canadian Embassy is awarding 25 pairs of free tickets to people who email the embassy before March 9.

Before Green Gables is scheduled for a 39-episode run. The title will debut on Japanese television on April 5, as part of Nippon Animation's World Animation Theater lineup.
