Last week's issue of Famitsu magazine confirmed plans for an anime adaptation of On the Way to a Smile Episode: Denzel. The feature will be included with Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete, which is scheduled to hit Japanese stores on April 16th. The Denzel anime will also ship as an extra on the Advent Children Blu-Ray release.

On the Way to a Smile: Episode Denzel is based on the Final Fantasy VII spinoff novel. The story focuses on Denzel's efforts to enlist in the World Regenesis Organization (WRO), and expands upon the character's past.

A-1 Pictures - a studio attached to Aniplex - and BeSTACK are producing the adaptation.
