The A-Kon convention announced that the bands LM.C and Camino will be performing at A-Kon 2009.

The LM.C duo - maya and Aiji - made their debut in 2006 with their own take on visual-kei rock. They contributed two opening themes to the Katekyo Hitman Reborn! TV series and two ending themes to the Red Garden TV series. They will perform on the first night of the convention: Friday, May 29th. They've performed in the US before at Anime Expo 2008's Battle of the Bands.

Camino formed in 2002 and seen frequent roster changes since then. They performed the Koutetsu Sangokushi TV series opening theme, "Nostalgia." The group also peformed the "Lovin' Moon" insert song for the Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side 2nd Kiss game and "Story," the opening theme for the live-action Tomica Hero: Rescue Force TV series.

A-Kon 2009 will be held from May 29-31 at the Sheraton Hotel in Dallas, TX. A-Kon is America's longest-running national anime convention, and will be entering its 19th year of operations.
