The latest issue of Ohta Books' Manga Erotics F revealed that Takako Shimura's Aoi Hana manga will receive an anime adaptation. The title will debut on Fuji TV this July as part of Fuji TV's "Noise" lineup. The animation will be produced by J.C. Staff (Ai Yori Aoshi, The Slayers). No further details have been announced.

Aoi Hana has run in Manga Erotics F since 2004 and has been compiled into three volumes. The story revolves around two childhood friends separated by circumstance, but reunited in high school. The two try to rekindle the friendship they once had, while also facing the daily drudgery of high school.
