According to the Newtype Magazine website, Kyoto Animation's TV remake of the Munto fantasy OVA - Sora o Miageru Shoujo no Hitomi ni Utsuru Sekai - will receive a theatrical finale in Japan next month.

The film itself will be a director's cut of the series' climactic scenes, accompanied by new footage. The film will run in two theaters in Tokyo and Kyoto from April 18th to May 1st.

Munto's story revolves around an ordinary girl named Yumemi, who can see a magical world in the skies above our own. This world is ruled by a king named Munto. Through a series of plot devices, Munto heads out to find Yumemi, who is the only person that can save his world.
