Yamato Toys revealed that they are working on a new multimedia project known as Enka Odo Dai Shogun. The project will span several formats, including an anime series, manga and drama CDs as well a line of figures, illustrations, and novels. The anime series will be handled by Studio Arima.

Studio Arima's booth at this year's Tokyo International Anime Fair will feature a prototype of the project's first figure, Kiriko Abe. Limited edition posters featuring illustrations by co-creator Shunya Yamashita will feature further details on the project.

The Tokyo International Anime Fair will be held from March 18 to March 21. Studio Anima previously contributed animated and real-time footage to a number of video games, including Metal Gear 4: Guns of the Patriot and Valkyria Chronicles.
