4Kids recently posted the first ten uncut episodes of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters TV series on Youtube with the original Japanese audio and English subtitles. 4Kids is also uploading the edited dubbed episodes to YouTube, with eight already avaiable. Currently, the episodes are only available to users based in the United States.

4Kids' actions represent the first outright acknowledgments of demand for a subtitled version of the show. 4Kids partnered with FUNimation to release three uncut volumes of Yu-Gi-Oh! in 2004, but never pushed further with the uncut volumes.
