Studio Anima announced that they are working on a 12-episode adaptation of Motofumi Kobayashi's Cat Shit One. The series will be a 3D CGI production that updates the original manga's setting from Vietnam to the military conflicts of today. The main cast will be changed from American soldiers to members of a private company.

The license for Cat Shit One is currently held by ADV Manga, who released three volumes under the title Apocalypse Meow.
