The wraparound cover band on the latest volume of Milan Matra's Omamori Himari manga revealed that an animated adaptation of the series is in production.

The slapstick romantic comedy focuses on a 16-year-old high school student named Yuto Amakawa, who is protected by a beautiful, sword-wielding cat girl spirit named Himari. Apparently, Yuto is descended from a family that has subjugated demons since the beginning of time! Wacky hijinks ensue.
