TMS Entertainment recently launched a channel on Youtube. In addition to Japanese promotional videos, TMS is uploading English-dubbed episodes of Sherlock Hound to the service. Currently, six episodes are available, though TMS plans to upload all 26 episodes.

Sherlock Hound was originally released on American DVD in 2002 by Pioneer Entertainment. Studio Ghibli co-founder Hayao Miyazaki (Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, Princess Mononoke) and director Kyosuke Mikuriya (Angel Heart, Lupin III: Part II) oversaw the project, which ran from 1984 to 1985.
