Japanese C.S.T. Entertainment will officially launch Otaku-ma (shortened from "Otaku Match"), a social matching service for otaku. The service will assist otaku in finding friends with similar interests, and is aimed at fans of the following topics:

  • anime
  • books
  • computers
  • cosplay
  • idols
  • martial arts
  • miltary
  • tokusatsu shows
  • toys
  • vehicles
  • voice actors

  • video games

Much like the typical dating site, users are matched by a survey that tracks a user's hobbies and preferences. When the service launches, profile matching will be free, though other, paid features will be added as well.

Otaku-ma will officially launch on April 27. The service is exclusive to Japanese residents.
