The advertising obi on the latest issue of Mizuki Nomura's Bungaku Shoujo to Shinitagari no Pierrot (A Literary Girl And A Clown Who Dreamed To Die) announced that the series will receive a theatrical animated feature. Currently, no details have been revealed.

The Bungaku Shoujo to Shinitagari no Pierrot manga is an adaptation of the Bungaku Shoujo series of light novels by Miho Takeoka. The first light novel was released in 2006, and the franchise is currently on its ninth installment.
