Satte police arrested Yosuke Ida on charges of sending in a threat to blow up the former residence of Lucky Star creator Kagami Yoshimizu. Ida stated that he counted on an uproar when he mailed the threat, but had no intention of going through with it.

The home was renovated after Yoshimizu moved out in May 2008. the home was reopened on March 28 as the "Kimagure Studio Yoshimizu Kagami Gallery Satte" (Whimsical Studio Kagami Yoshimizu Gallery Satte). The building features a recreation of Konata Izumi's apartment, among other displays. Ida mailed the letter on March 30, which stated "I am going to blow up the site recreating the heroine's room from the Lucky Star manga on April 25." The chamber of commerce responded by increasing security around the gallery.
