Anime Dream is priviledged to have been given the opportunity to interview a trio of key members in the production of Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. Over the course of our interview series, a wide breadth of topics will be discussed, including details about the production of the recently released Final Fantasy movie, information on the currently airing Final Fantasy: Unlimited anime series, as well as a host of other projects.

Our first interview was with Mr. Hironobu Sakaguchi, the man behind the Final Fantasy game series and the director of the CG feature film Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. The hours leading up to the interview saw a nerve-racked Sumi pacing back and forth, clasping her hands together while rehearsing what she'd say to the legend of the gaming world. Upon answering the phone for the interview, however, the smooth, sexy voice of his translator put her at ease enough to send Mr Sakaguchi through a veritable gauntlet of questions.
