At their Anime Boston panel, FUNimation announced that they acquired the rights to Spice & Wolf. According to FUNimation representatives, the company hopes to release the series in a single set this winter.

Spice & Wolf is based on the light novel series by Ju Ayakura. The series was produced by IMAGIN and directed by Takeo Takahashi.

Yen Press currently holds the rights to the Spice & Wolf light novels, as well as the manga adaptation by Keiko Koume.
