Yaoi Press revealed that on-demand printer Docucopies refused to print copies of the company's Yaoi Coloring Book. The reason given for the refusal revolves around nudity present in the document. Yaoi Press founder Yamila Abraham noted that the book's characters are all male, and she offered to replace images if DocuCopies specified which were objectionable. DocuCopies replied that a number of pages were "disturbing," and that they refuse to print the book.

Abraham specified Docucopies as a resource in her eHow article, How to Print a Comic Book or Doujinshi Cheap. The company printed titles for Abraham in the past, without raising complaints. Docucopies' Terms of Service does not specify the right to refuse due to content, though they do reserve the rights to refuse customers.
