The Anime Network Cut From Comcast, Promoted on DirecTV

ADV Films announced that the Anime Network is no longer available via Comcast in the United States. ADV also announced that the Anime Network will be available via DirecTV's Video on Demand service.

The Anime Network also announced that they will offer the first five episodes of Azumanga Daioh, Kiba, and Mezzo on Nokia's Ovi service.

The Anime Network began on DirecTV as a Pay per View channel in 2006.
