Anime Expo announced that Yun Kouga will attend the event as a Guest of Honor. Kouga made her professional debut in 1985, when she drew Gakken Kenkyusha's manga adaptation of Little Women. She is responsible for a number of fan-favorite titles, including Gestalt, Loveless, and Earthian.

Kouga began working as a character designer in 1990, when she provided designs for Carol: A Day In A Girl's Life. Currently, Kouga provides character designs for Mobile Suit Gundam 00.
