The individuals proceeded to download the files, and illegally distribute them online. Phantom episode 10 hit the file-sharing networks a full day before it was supposed to air on Japanese television. Fullmetal Alchemist officially aired in Japan over the weekend.

FUNimation was supposed to premiere Phantom tomorrow at 1:00PM CDT, and Fullmetal Alchemist was supposed to debut tomorrow at 10:00AM CDT. FUNimation is currently streaming episode 9 of Fullmetal Alchemist, about 12 hours ahead of schedule.

This event occurred in the wake of a similar incident that occurred last week, when an individual downloaded and illegally distributed episode 403 of One Piece in the same manner.

FUNimation resumed streaming episodes of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood earlier today, after removing all episodes to implement enhanced security measures.
