Digital Manga Publishing recently launched its Digital Manga Direct service. Digital Manga Direct allows Digital Manga to sell titles directly to retailers without the need of a distributor. Digital Manga still has an exclusive distribution agreement with Diamond Comics, though Digital Manga is allowed to personally distribute titles that were returned by Diamond.

Digital Manga Publishing has a number of imprints, which include 801 Media, Digital Manga Publishing, and Juné Manga.

Diamond raised its purchase order minimum from $1,500 to $2,500 earlier this year. The new minimum requires all publishers to show that an item is able to earn $2,500 in a month in order to be included in Diamond's inventory.

Digital Manga Direct is intended solely for retailers who wish to carry Digital Manga Press titles. Consumers are able to purchase the titles directly from Digital Manga through their online store, Akadot.
