Metrocon's Alex Craddock posted an official statement regarding the arrest of the con's founder and CEO Roy Harms. Harms was arrested on charges of carnal intercourse with an unmarried person under the age of 18 on Thursday. Harms was released on a $1,000 bond on the day of his arrest.

The incident allegedly occurred several years prior. Harms has since stepped down from his position at the convention. Craddock will lead Metrocon's operations with Nick Fazio, Metrocon's Head of Security.

Metrocon is still scheduled to run as scheduled. The event will take place from June 19-21
