Bob Okazaki Heads for Anime Expo

FUNimation has announced that Afro Samurai creator Takashi "Bob" Okazaki will be attending Anime Expo as a guest of honor. Okazaki is an illustrator, painter, manga artist, and graphic designer that worked on a number of projects, including the Spider-Man 2 DVD cover.

Okazaki joins a number of Japanese guests this year, including Guilty Gear creator Daisuke Ishiwatari, Morning Musume, and Trigun creator Yasuhiro Nightow.

FUNimation currently holds the western rights to Afro Samurai and its sequel, Afro Samurai: Resurrection.
