ICv2 reports that the long decline in anime DVD sales slowed to a near-halt last quarter, with a 2% decline in sales versus the same period last year. In the first quarter of 2008, the market saw an 11% drop in anime DVD sales over the same period in 2007.

ICv2 also noted that FUNimation controls a majority of the American anime industry, with a 40% overall market share.
