The New York Anime Festival announced that voice actress Yui Makino will attend the event as a Guest of Honor. Her debut role was Sakura in Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle. Makino has since provided voices for a number of series, including Welcome to the NHK! and Aria.

In addition to her voice work, Makino sang theme songs for ten anime series, including Aria, Welcome to the NHK, and Aquarion.

The New York Anime Festival will be held from September 25-27.
