FUNimation announced that they acquired the rights to the first season of Sands of Destruction (World Destruction: Sekai Bokumetsu no Rokunin). They plan to release the series next spring.

Sands of Destruction is based on the World Destruction role-playing game for Nintendo DS. The series was animated by Production I.G., and spans 13 episodes.
